Abstract:
Authors explored the application of retractable roof, and analyzed the application and development of retractable roof in sport architecture from three aspects of space structure, function synthesis, morphological characteristic. The results show that retractable roof has become a trend of sport architecture design, it can be incorporated into the continuous development of structural systems and can create indoor and outdoor environment flexibly to satisfy the convenience of all-weather use, consequently, it provides a broader space for the future development of sport architecture.
