- Abstract:
- Based on exhausted area treatment of a highway tunnel under construction, the detection and treatment technology of tunnel through exhausted area was discussed. The theory and method of using ground penetrating radar to detect the exhausted areas during construction were systematically summarized. Numerical simulation and analysis were used on the two types of reinforcement schemes by ANSYS software, and the detailed reinforcement scheme was recommended. The effect of exhausted area on tunnel was analyzed, and the detailed designing scheme and construction principles were given. The measuring values and simulation values in construction were comparatively analyzed, and the treatment result of the exhausted areas was assessed. The results indicate that based on the economical technology being feasible, reasonable and meeting the requirements of construction progress, the use of steel frame and pier to support the exhausted area and filling with lightweight materials can better control the deformation and displacement of the tunnel.
