Abstract:
In order to analyze the influence rule of various rectangular opening parameters on the stability of desulfurizing tower structures, taking a desulfurizing tower structures under construction as the research background, based on the establishment of a parameterized model of thinwalled cylindrical shell structures using finite element software ANSYS, the nonlinear buckling characteristics of structures with different opening parameters were comparatively analyzed. The results show that the opening angle significantly effects on the structures than any other parameters, the ultimate nonlinear buckling load has an obvious downtrend while the opening angle is less than 90°, and turning to decline gently while the opening angle is greater than 120°. While the wall thickness is 25 mm, the ultimate nonlinear buckling load in the case of 90° decreases by 91% comparing to the case of 0°, and the ultimate nonlinear buckling load in the case of 120° decreases by 95.2% comparing to the case of 0°. The ultimate nonlinear buckling load reduces as the opening height increases, however, the ultimate nonlinear buckling load reduces linearly with the increase of opening location.
