- Abstract:
- A kind of repairable prefabricated beam-column joint was proposed. By varying the thickness of flange plate and the spacing of the middle row bolts, the plastic hinge was transferred to the connection zone, and the seismic energy could be dissipated by the deformation of flange plate. The method could ensure that the main components such as beams and columns kept within elastic range and without damage, and the joint could be rapidly repaired by replacing the flange plate after earthquake. The numerical simulations of 5 joints were carried out by using finite element analysis software ABAQUS, and the bearing capacities, failure modes and stresses of components were obtained. The influences of the spacing of the middle row bolts and the thickness of flange plate on the key mechanical properties of the joints were mainly analyzed. The results show that the bearing capacity could be guaranteed by reasonable design of the thickness of flange plate and the spacing of the middle row bolts, and the damage of the main components such as beams and columns can be avoided, and the rapid rehabilitation after earthquake can be achieved.
