Abstract:
Taking a highway tunnel in Shaanxi province as the background, a three-dimensional numerical calculation model of cracked lining was established using the extended finite element method. Quantitative analysis of the mechanical state of lining structures under the influence of crack types, crack locations, crack lengths, and crack distribution ranges was carried out. Furthermore, the evolution law of the safety performance of the lining structure with cracks was studied, and the fitting formula of the lining safety factor under different crack characteristics was quantitatively given. The result show that when the lining structure has cracks, the force is in an asymmetric state. The axial force and bending moment at a single preset longitudinal crack gradually decrease and increase with the length of the crack respectively. Under the preset longitudinal crack conditions of arch crown+arch shoulder, arch crown+arch waist, and arch crown+arch shoulder+arch waist, the axial force of the arch crown is most significantly affected. Compared with single preset longitudinal crack, the axial force change rates are 21.55%, -17.52% and 13.45%, respectively. The distribution pattern of lining bending moment under the influence of circumferential cracks presents a pattern of “convex arch shoulder, concave arch waist and side walls, convex arch foot”. The fitting curve of the safety factor of the lining structure with longitudinal cracks show a trend of transition from a “W” shape to a “U” shape. The fitting curve of the safety factor of the lining structure with circumferential cracks shows an approximately symmetrical wavy distribution.
