Abstract:
To study the basic mechanical property of reactive powder concrete(RPC), through referring pertinent literature, a series of mechanical property tests and data analyses, authors gave the statistics of compressive strength, cleavage strength, modulus of elasticity, Poisson's ratio of RPC and steel bars' bonding strength in RPC, compared the bonding properties of steel bars in RPC and normal concrete(NC), then analyzed the destructive shape and stress and strain relation of RPC. The results show that stress and strain relation of RPC is a line, so it is a kind of brittle material. Its mechanical property is better than normal concrete. Poisson's ratio of RPC can use 0.2. Cleavage strength, modulus of elasticity and tensile strength of RPC can be calculated by emprical formula of NC.
