- Abstract:
- In order to compare the mechanical characteristics of polymer and concrete diaphragm wall under static loads, experimental study was conducted with non water reaction type polyurethane polymers and concrete diaphragm wall as examples,then finite element software ABAQUS was used to achieve numerical simulation for mechanical characteristics of diaphragm walls. The results show that the numerical calculation results agree well with the test data. The stress of polymer diaphragm wall is smaller than concrete diaphragm wall under the same static load. Polymer diaphragm wall coordinates well with the deformation capacity of soil, and is difficult to be damaged.
