- Abstract:
- Adding steel fiber and TANK fiber into recycled aggregate concrete (RAC) to enhance its performance, the corresponding basic material property tests were carried out. The constitutive equation of the RAC was determined by using the obtained experimental data, which had different hybrid fiber content (mass fraction) 0%, 0.3%, 0.5%, 1.0%. The finite element software ABAQUS was used to conduct pseudostatic nonlinear analysis of the RAC frame joints with different hybrid fiber contents. The hysteresis curves, skeleton curves and the stiffness degradation curves were obtained, the energy dissipation capacity and equivalent viscous damping coefficients were analyzed. The results show that hybrid fiber can be more effective to improve the basic mechanical properties of the RAC. Meanwhile, the seismic performance of the frame joints has a more significant improvement. With the increasing of hybrid fiber content, the seismic performance of RAC can be improved.
