- Abstract:
- According to the characteristics of traditional bamboo frame with less anti-lateral performance, a kind of cross prestressed bamboo frame was presented. Low cyclic loading test was conducted and elasto-plastic analysis was carried out by finite element software HYPERMESH and ABAQUS. The results show that the typical pinching characteristics of hysteresis curves of bamboo frame can be simulated by the modeling of solid bolt,but the hysteresis curve areas are smaller than those of test. When the frame was reinforced by cross prestressed cable, the ultimate bearing capacity increases to 1.9 times and the horizontal displacement reduces to 1/2.7 of the original displacement.The maximum lateral displacement of the cross prestressed bamboo frame is only 1/5.4 of the traditional bamboo frame in time history analysis.With the increase of radius of the cable, the increased degree of stiffness is gradually reduced and the energy consumption is gradually decreased.Increasing the prestress can increase the stiffness, but the prestress increases to 6 kN later,the prestressed size has no significant effect on stiffness,the energy dissipation curve shows the inverse U type, ]which has extreme value.
