Abstract:
Based on some assumptions, the free vibration frequency of the structures with an outrigger was analyzed. And depended on different values of the stiffness ratio of core-column, the stiffness ratio of core-outrigger and the stiffness ratio of tube, the relation between the location of the outrigger and the free vibration frequency was inferred through a computer program. The equal-parameter distribution theory of the structural dynamics was used and the influences of core wall with changing stiffness and outrigger flexure were considered. The results give some reference for rationaloutrigger designing.
