Abstract:
The commercial software ANSYS was employed to investigate the mechanical behavior of steel-concrete composite shear wall(SCSW)under mono-static load. The influences of concrete-plate thickness and concrete strength on SCSW ultimate bearing capacity and SCSW initial shear stiffness were discussed in detail after comparison of the mechanical behavior of the two types of shear walls. The research results show that concrete-plate thickness is a key parameter to predict the behavior of SCSW, and variation of concrete grade has little effect on static behavior of SCSW.
