Abstract:
Based on the generalized finite element software ABAQUS, 3-D finite element modeling was carried out for the shaking table tests of underground pipeline under non-uniform earthquake excitation. Firstly, the modeling method of laminar shear box was emphatically discussed. The Drucker-Prager model was adopted to simulate the nonlinearity of the soil. The master-slave contact element was used for the nonlinear mechanical behavior of soil-structure interaction. Then, the comparison between numerical simulation results and test results agreed well in natural frequency, strain response, acceleration and displacement response. The results indicate that the analytical model and method proposed can be used to simulate the responses of soil and structure as well as soil-structure interaction, so as to further analyze the seismic responses of underground pipelines.
