Abstract:
Based on finite element software ANSYS 10.0, full-range construction finite element simulation was conducted for prestressed beam string structure of Shanghai Yuanshen Arena. Using some advanced measure equipments, such as displacement sensors, shaking-string strain sensors and cable force diagnosis system, the structural deformation and member section stresses were monitored during the construction. Results indicate that the deformation of the prestressed beam string structure satisfies the design requirements. The lateral stability is reliable and all structural members are in elastic range, thus the structure is safe during the global construction process. Each single beam string structure has relatively large interactions with each other because of the connecting members, which show good integral working performance. The monitoring results are in good agreement with the analytical results by ANSYS 10.0.
