Abstract:
Based on the principle of the interaction of wire strand shape, its unstressed length and dead weight uniform, authors proposed simulation algorithm of internal force redistribution and the cable actual shape after its erection and tightening. The weight distribution calculation assumptions of non-ideal parallel wire strands after the cable tightening were carried out, and the corresponding calculation formula to establish its term and iterative process of convergence criteria were derived, meanwhile, the corresponding calculation program was developed by using VC++ computer language. In addition, the influences of different spacing on cable shapes and internal forces were analyzed when the general wire strands were erected and adjusted. Results show that proper increase of the control spacing of the general wire strands, has no effect on cable shape and has only limited effect on the internal forces of the wire strands.
