Abstract:
In order to realize the modulation of structural lateral stiffness and active control, the deep beam was studied as a new type of infilled wall form. The development law of steel frame with infilling shear wall was summarized based on the development progress and steel frame infilling deep beam system was proposed finally. Research status and evolution of reinforced concrete deep beam, steel-concrete composite deep beam and steel plate deep beam were summarized. Moreover, the author’s comments and suggestions on the future research direction were presented respectively according to the current research deficiencies. Research results show that deep beam can strengthen lateral stiffness and energy-dissipating capacity effectively, and the modulation of lateral stiffness can be realized by changing span-depth ratio and width-thickness ratio, etc.
