Abstract:
Firstly, the characteristics of optical fiber sensing technology were analyzed, and the market trends of optical fiber sensing technology were introduced. Secondly, the research progress of optimization of optical fiber sensing system, development and calibration of optical fiber sensor, installation technology and monitoring data postprocessing were described separately from the view point of geotechnical and geological engineering application. The key technical problems of optical fiber sensing technology in engineering applications were discussed. Finally, combined with research progress and application problems, the development of optical fiber sensing technology was prospected. The results show that the optical fiber sensing technology has broad application prospects and more technological advantage in the field of geotechnical and geological engineering.
