Abstract:
Taking desulfurizing towers of 660 MW as study objects, finite element softwares ADINA and FLUENT were used to analyze numerical wind tunnel of desulfurizing towers. The results show that NE wind direction and 180° wind direction are the most unfavorable wind directions while structure is relatively safe at 0° wind direction. As the wind speed increases, the acceleration response trends to increase from bottom to top and stress trends to decrease. There is stress concentration around opening at the lower part of structure, and the wind speed has little effect on the structural stresses and displacements. There are strong mutual interference between the multitowers, and structure located at wind downstream has less effect on which located at wind upstream, while structure located at wind upstream has more effect on structure located at wind downstream.
